Local 96 and Washington Gas have come to an agreement that the company will reimburse each employee up to $200 for cleaning supplies and protective gear.

Washington Gas will reimburse you up to $200 for protective gear and cleaning supplies that you  purchase for use at work. 

You must record the expenses on your time sheet and keep your receipts.

Also, Washington Gas will stop doing turnoffs during the crisis. 

Local 96 leadership will continue meeting regularly with Washington Gas in order to protect our members during the Coronavirus outbreak, and will keep you updated.
