Pandemic Leave Expired
UPDATE: The Pandemic leave policy will not be renewed.
As of December 1, 2021 the 14 days of COVID leave has expired and there is no 14-day administrative leave available.
Vaccination Status Update
Local Union 96 has consulted our Attorney and the EEOC has ruled that employers have the right to request proof of vaccination status.
We are waiting for WGL to provide us with information on how they will keep employee vaccination status confidential.

Health Insurance and Retirement Update
Local Union Election Ballot Mailed
Ballots for the Local Union Election were mailed out to all active members on Monday, November 15th, 2021. If you do not receive your ballot by November 27th, please contact the union for a replacement ballot.
Special Meeting for all Garage Mechanics
Special Meeting for all Garage Mechanics will take place via Zoom this Thursday, November 18th at 6:00pm.
Drive Cam Update
ATTENTION LOCAL 96 TEAMSTERS:
Local 96 has received 9 drive cams since November 1st. Employees are being sent home on 4th and finals. Please make sure you are following proper protocol while driving work vehicles.
