In the middle of the worst pandemic and economic crisis of our lives, Local 96 members have won a one-year contract extension that delivers economic security and COVID-19 protections.

How to Vote on the Contract Extension

Local 96 members will be voting on a 12-month contract extension that includes 15 months of wage increases and extensive COVID-19 protections. Here’s how the vote will work.

Every member was mailed a ballot packet. Your ballot packet will include a unique Access Code.

Tentative Agreement Reached; Provides Safety, Security

Your Local 96 Negotiating Committee has reached a tentative agreement with Washington Gas on COVID-19 health and safety protections and a one-year extension of our contract that provides security in very uncertain times.

A Local 96 Teamster has tested positive at the Chillum Station. The worksite is being closed down and thoroughly sanitized under directions from the CDC.
