WGL continues to screen customer households for COVID-19 and notates the customer account to alert the technicians, so that they can impose certain conditions on service, and/ or reach out to their supervisor for assistance if required.

Inside work for fully vaccinated persons who have their vaccination card uploaded to WorkDay.*

Examples may include but not limited to:

• Checking Gas Readings
• Checking Appliances
• Checking inside locations including service entry points, appliances, houselines, WG meter build-up/piping (inside)*

*(Very Low – The risk of serious illness for vaccinated persons is very low.)

Service Protocol:

• Maintain Physical Barrier between Customer (e.g. Wall or Door) if any Occupant has tested Positive for COVID-19, is under Quarantine for COVID-19, or is Exhibiting Symptoms of COVID-19.

Employee Protocol:

• COVID-19 vaccination recommended.
• Personnel health screen recommend prior to coming to work. Do not report to WG facilities or work locations if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19; contact OHW for instructions and then make arrangements with your supervisor.
• Practice good personal hygiene and wash your hands often.
• Maintain distancing (6’) with other persons as possible.
• Cloth Face Covering or Surgical Mask is optional unless premise occupant request to be worn. Upon request by occupant, Cloth Face Covering or Surgical Mask is required.

Inside work for NOT Fully vaccinated persons or those who have not uploaded their vaccination card into WorkDay.*

Examples may include but not limited to:

• Checking Gas Readings
• Checking Appliances
• Checking inside locations including service entry points, appliances, houselines, WG meter build-up/piping (inside)*

*(Low/Medium – When the CDC COVID Community Health level is Low or Medium)
